Goose Pixel Art: Long Necks, Webbed Feet & Playful Poses

A long neck, a projecting beak and broad feet give a goose its outline. Choose between an upright white bird, a darker Canada goose or an expressive close-up.

Goose pixel art questions

Why does my goose look like a duck?

Compare the neck length and the transition into the chest. A longer, clearly separated neck can help, but use the selected goose reference rather than stretching an unrelated duck image.

How can I keep a white goose visible on a light background?

Retain a slightly darker outside edge and a few larger wing or chest shadows. Preview against the actual background; a pure white shape can disappear even when the file has the correct dimensions.

Do I need to draw every webbed toe?

At a small size, a broad foot shape with a clear ground contact is often enough. Keep the two feet separate when the pose allows it instead of filling the gap with tiny toe lines.

Is the moving goose a flying animation?

The GIF floats the complete source illustration. It does not change the wing position or supply separate flight-cycle frames.

Begin with the neck and beak

Choose an upright or flying silhouette, establish contrast around the pale feathers and keep the feet clear of the body.
