How to Set Up Clocks, Weather, and Widgets on Divoom

Clock Faces: Pick Your Style

The first thing most people want to change is the default clock. Times Gate and Times Frame both support hundreds of clock faces across analog, digital, pixel-art, retro, and data-rich styles — and they're all accessible from the Divoom App.

How to change your clock face

Open the Divoom App and go to the Dashboard.
Tap Live Channels, then select the Clock category.
Browse the available designs — tap any face to preview it on your device.
Once you find one you like, tap Save to Device.

Weather Widgets: Make It Local

Weather is one of the most useful widgets on any Divoom smart display — once it knows your city, it updates automatically. Here's how to set it up.

Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi (weather data updates through the network).
Open the Divoom App and go to Dashboard.
Select the Weather widget option.
Allow location access when prompted — this lets the App find your city automatically.
If automatic detection doesn't show the right city, tap the search field and enter your city name manually.
Choose your preferred temperature unit: °C or °F.
Save the widget to your device.

Once configured, the weather data refreshes over Wi-Fi without needing the App to stay open. If you notice the weather isn't updating, check two things: that your device has a stable Wi-Fi connection, and that the correct city is selected in the App.

Widgets Beyond the Basics

Calendar and countdown

Open the App, go to Widgets, and select Calendar or Countdown. You can add events manually — a project deadline, a trip, a birthday — and the device will show the remaining days. This is useful for Times Gate because you can dedicate one of its five screens to a live calendar view while the other screens handle different content.

Tomato timer (Times Frame only)

Times Frame includes a built-in pomodoro timer. In the App, go to Widgets → Tomato Timer, set your preferred work duration (25 minutes is the default), and save it to the device. You can start, pause, and reset the timer directly on the display — no phone needed once it's configured.

Stock and crypto tickers (Times Gate)

Times Gate supports real-time stock and cryptocurrency price widgets. Set them up from the App's Widgets menu: select Stock or Crypto, enter the ticker symbols you want to track, and assign the widget to one of the five screens.
