Open the editor ↗Spiral horns need a clear center; wool needs only a few broad edges. Compare a geometric cartoon ram with a textured Merino illustration before deciding how much detail to keep.

2 licensed ram illustration studies converted to 128 × 128. One example uses a locally assembled whole-illustration bobbing GIF; this does not animate separate body parts.

Give each horn a visible return curve and keep it separate from the ear below. A single pointed triangle reads as an ear, while a broad rounded arc suggests a curl.
Preserve the large chest, back and belly shapes first. Group small ink marks into a few shadows rather than retaining every hair; the legs need a clearer outline than the fleece texture.
Build the curl as a thick outside arc with a contrasting center. Start with that shape in the pixel art maker.
