Llama Pixel Art: Tall Ears & Long-Necked Characters

A llama uses an upright neck and tall curved ears. Keep the head small enough that the neck remains visible, and leave room above the ears in the crop.

Llama pixel art questions

How can I separate a llama from an alpaca?

For a stylized llama, use longer curved ears and a more elongated face. Keep the differences in the silhouette rather than trying to identify it with fur detail alone.

Why does the neck merge into the face?

The jaw and chest need a small change in contour or tone. Add a clear chin edge before making the fleece more textured.

What moves in the llama GIF?

The whole licensed illustration gently bobs. It is a locally assembled eight-frame loop, not a claim that the limbs, mouth or wings move independently. Keep the same canvas and padding when making a similar loop.

Make room for your llama shape

Make the ears and neck different shapes. Start with the silhouette, then add only the details that remain readable at the final size.
