Lengthen the horse muzzle and neck, and preserve the long legs with visible hooves. Wings cannot compensate for an unclear horse silhouette.
Prefer a pose that fits both. A rearing or flying angle can make room for the wings without cutting off every hoof.
The whole licensed illustration gently bobs. It is a locally assembled eight-frame loop, not a claim that the limbs, mouth or wings move independently. Keep the same canvas and padding when making a similar loop.
Give the wings room above the back. Start with the silhouette, then add only the details that remain readable at the final size.
