Sea turtle pixel art questions
Why does my sea turtle look like a tortoise?
Use flippers rather than short upright walking legs, and keep the swimming body lower and flatter. Do not rely on the green color alone to distinguish the silhouette.
How do I stop shell outlines becoming a grid of noise?
Group the plates into a few large shapes with a consistent edge thickness. Preserve the shell boundary and flippers first; tiny interior tiles can be simplified.
