Open the editor ↗The long snout, upright neck and curled tail give a seahorse its outline. Explore a compact mix of simple blue cartoons, dark silhouettes and fine ink studies.

6 licensed seahorse illustration studies converted to 128 × 128. One example uses a locally assembled whole-illustration bobbing GIF; this does not animate separate body parts.

The inner gap is too small for the chosen logical grid. Widen the opening or simplify the curl rather than adding another outline inside the same space.
Leave background margin in front of it and keep its value different from the background. A tight face crop can cut off the long tube-like snout.
Make the curled tail thick enough to stay connected, with a contrasting gap inside the loop. Start with that shape in the pixel art maker.
