Convert an image into pixel art
Upload an image, choose a canvas size and refine the result. Export a PNG when you are ready.
Open the editor ↗A short beak, compact chest and simple wing patch make a sparrow readable. Compare a warm brown perched bird with dark silhouettes and finer black-and-white studies.

4 licensed sparrow illustration studies converted to 128 × 128. One example uses a locally assembled whole-illustration bobbing GIF; this does not animate separate body parts.

Preserve the short conical beak, wing patch and tail direction of the chosen source. Do not replace all those features with a circle and two stick legs.
Group the largest light and dark feather patches and omit tiny repeated lines. The outer wing boundary should remain clearer than its interior texture.
Let the short pointed beak extend beyond the head rather than disappear into a dark cheek patch. Start with that shape in the pixel art maker.
