Otter Pixel Art: Small Paws & Sleek River Characters

An otter can sit upright, lie on its back or stretch into a low river-side silhouette. Choose the pose before drawing the small front paws and long tail.

Otter pixel art questions

Why does my otter look like a seal?

For a river-otter style, show small distinct paws and a long tapering tail rather than a smooth pair of rear flippers. Keep the head compact and rounded.

How do I show floating without a busy scene?

Use a horizontal or back-lying body pose with a little clear space around the paws. A few water marks are enough; avoid covering the face with bubbles.

What moves in the otter GIF?

The whole licensed illustration gently bobs. It is a locally assembled eight-frame loop, not a claim that the limbs, mouth or wings move independently. Keep the same canvas and padding when making a similar loop.

Make room for your otter shape

Keep the paws clear of the chest. Start with the silhouette, then add only the details that remain readable at the final size.
