GOOD TO KNOW

A few pixel-sized answers.

Everything you need to get started.

Can I use a photo instead of drawing?

Yes. Choose Upload an image or drag a supported image onto the tool. Pick a canvas size, choose Fit whole image or Fill and crop, then place it on the canvas. The result is editable with the drawing tools.

How do I make a GIF?

Choose GIF animation, duplicate the current frame, and change a few pixels. Adjust each frame time in milliseconds, use onion skin to see the previous frame, and press Play. Export GIF downloads a looping animation of all frames.

Where is my work saved?

An automatic draft is saved in this browser when storage is available. Restore saved draft opens it. Download an editable project for a reliable copy you can open later. Clearing browser storage removes local drafts; large projects should be downloaded.

Which file sizes and formats are supported?

Import PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF files up to 10 MB. Canvas presets range from 16 × 16 to 128 × 128. This version supports up to 8 layers and 32 animation frames. GIF import also has dimension and memory limits. Export PNG, GIF or an editable .divoom project. GIF export uses at most 255 opaque colors per frame and one transparent color, so gradients or partial transparency may change.

Can I send this directly to a Divoom device?

Download your artwork first, then check the import options in the Divoom app for your model. This web tool does not pair with devices or automatically sync projects to the app. Editable web project files are for reopening in this web editor.

A little creativity goes a long way.

YOUR IMAGE, REIMAGINED

Make it pixel-sized.

We have fitted your image for you. Adjust the settings, then keep creating on the canvas.

Placing an image replaces the current project. You can Undo to return to it. GIFs import as editable frames.

MADE BY YOU

Take your pixels with you.

PNG saves the current frame. GIF saves all animation frames in a loop.

PNG preserves transparency. GIF may reduce colors and turns partial transparency into transparent or opaque pixels.
