A portable Bluetooth speaker can replace computer speakers for a workday if it covers the actual playback route, controls and power needs for that day. The replacement remains incomplete when essential runtime, permitted powered operation or meeting input is unverified. A short music test does not prove that the speaker can take over every computer-audio task.
List the fixed speaker jobs before replacing them
Include ordinary audio, calls, video and any source switching you actually do. Note which tasks must work after the computer wakes and whether another person needs the desk audio when the portable unit leaves. A mobile speaker cannot serve two locations simultaneously.
For Windows, confirm the intended playback output. For meetings, establish the microphone independently and review the complete call route.
Check power across the whole routine
Use your actual listening hours and settings. An “up to” runtime claim is not a guarantee for every volume or display mode. If you plan to use external power during playback, verify that exact operating arrangement in the model’s instructions; do not assume a charging port establishes supported continuous use.
For a full-day plan, check runtime margins for an eight-hour workday. If the necessary evidence is missing, keep the fixed route until it is supplied or choose a documented alternative. A cable on the desk does not resolve the unknown by itself.
Keep the portable candidate’s verified and unknown roles separate
A portable choice may be useful when moving music is part of the day and its exact connection and power arrangement fit. Verify the remaining work requirements before retiring the existing speakers.
The Divoom FlowToo speaker lists Bluetooth audio, a 10W speaker and bedside sound/clock functions. Those support considering it for wanted playback. The selected evidence does not establish a full eight-hour runtime under your settings, permitted continuous powered playback or a computer microphone.

Compare Bluetooth speakers with the required workday conditions. An unresolved essential specification is a reason to retain the current route, not to invent a battery figure.
Replace only the tasks that have passed
Check normal start, resume, volume changes and the longest ordinary session. For calls, use the app’s supported input/output check. You can replace music playback while keeping a headset for meetings, or keep fixed speakers when the portable unit’s movement creates a gap. The answer can be partial replacement rather than an all-or-nothing purchase.
