Reduce the bill width and avoid a long flat beak. A fuller upright chest and small head help establish a pigeon profile.
Use a small muted green or purple area around the neck. Avoid rainbow stripes across the whole body; the gray silhouette should remain the main structure.
The whole licensed illustration gently bobs. It is a locally assembled eight-frame loop, not a claim that the limbs, mouth or wings move independently. Keep the same canvas and padding when making a similar loop.
Give the head a clear connection to the chest. Start with the silhouette, then add only the details that remain readable at the final size.
