Watermelon Pixel Art: Rinds, Seeds & Bright Fruit Slices

A watermelon slice needs a clear outer rind, a lighter inner band and a larger red flesh area. Keep those bands separated before adding seeds. Compare different illustration constructions, then use the pixel art maker to develop your own version.

Watermelon pixel art questions

Why is the rind dominating my slice?

The green and pale bands may be too thick. Reserve most of the slice for the flesh and reduce the rind before adding more detail.

How do I place the seeds?

Use a few dark marks with visible spacing. Avoid putting them directly on the rind boundary, where they can look like missing pixels.

What kind of motion does the watermelon GIF show?

It is a short whole-illustration floating loop made from one licensed artwork. It does not simulate natural movement, change individual parts or reproduce a hand-drawn animation cycle. The exported canvas is 128 x 128 pixels.

Make your own watermelon pixel art.

Use a dark green outer edge and a restrained pale rind strip. Place seed marks in open red areas so they do not break the outline of the slice.
