Convert an image into pixel art
Upload an image, choose a canvas size and refine the result. Export a PNG when you are ready.
Open the editor ↗Soft ears and a broad, friendly muzzle matter more than a yellow coat alone. These retriever examples compare full-body drawings, a seated realistic portrait and a face-focused design.
Four licensed sources converted to 128 × 128: line drawings, a simple full-body cartoon and a realistic seated portrait. One illustration gently floats in a local GIF.

Use a retriever reference with its broad muzzle, floppy ears and feathered coat shape. Color alone does not identify a breed; do not label an unrelated yellow dog as a golden retriever.
The eye clusters may be too small or close in value to the surrounding coat. Retain a darker eye and nose value and simplify the nearby fur highlights so those landmarks have room.
Choose a portrait when the expression is the priority. Use a full-body pose to show the chest, tail and stance, while accepting that the face will occupy fewer pixels inside a square canvas.
No. The complete source illustration gently floats as a locally assembled loop. Its tail and body parts do not move independently.
Choose a clear retriever reference, block in a few golden coat values and check the face before refining the fur.
