01

What readers can expect from us

Our goal is to help you understand a Divoom product before and after you buy it. That means being clear about what a product does, where the information came from, and what we have not been able to confirm.

Check before we claim

Important product details should come from a manual, specification, app listing, documented check, or a clearly named outside source.

Show where it came from

When an outside review, creator, standard, or platform listing matters to the answer, we link to it.

Be clear about our role

This is Divoom’s own website. We do not present brand-owned content as an independent review.

02

Where our information comes from

Different questions need different kinds of information. A manual is useful for supported features; a creator or customer may be better at showing how a product feels in everyday use.

1

Divoom product information

Specifications, manuals, app listings, release information, and documented product behavior.

2

Hands-on observations

Focused checks of setup, controls, app steps, compatibility, and common use cases.

3

Outside experience

Creator feedback, public reviews, customer questions, support patterns, and platform ratings.

If sources disagree

We do not quietly choose the version that sounds best. We explain the difference, investigate it, or leave the claim out until we can support it.

03

Who is responsible for the page

“Divoom Editorial Team” is the shared name for the people who research, write, check, and maintain Divoom’s guides. Divoom owns the content, and a human editor is responsible for what appears on the page.

How we describe testing

We use the word “tested” only when we can say what was checked. A setup check, creator trial, customer report, and controlled laboratory test are not the same thing, so we do not describe them as if they were.

  • Tell you what was checked and what question it answered.
  • Separate product facts from personal experience.
  • Disclose when a creator was paid or received a product.
  • Avoid inventing one tester count that applies to every launch.

05

How we use AI tools

AI tools may help us organize research, improve a translation, spot missing information, or make a draft easier to read. They do not decide what is true and are not used as the source for a product claim.

A human editor still checks the sources, wording, links, disclosures, and final page.

06

Paid, gifted, and affiliate relationships

Creators may be paid, receive a product, join a campaign, or talk about Divoom without a formal relationship. When their content is used on one of our pages, we explain the relationship when it matters to how you should read the recommendation.

If a page contains an affiliate link, it should be labeled near the recommendation. Payment does not turn an opinion into a verified product fact.

07

Corrections and updates

Products, apps, availability, and support information change. When a change affects whether you should buy or how you use a product, we update the page and show a new review date or correction note.
